The small village of Glaning is located high above of the city Bozen at 765 m above sea level, on the southern slope of the „Tschöggelberg“. There you have a breathtaking view on the city of Bozen and also on the famous mountain massifs of the Dolomite, the Schlern, the Rosengarten and the Latemar.

In only 8 minutes you can reach the highland Salten, a famous place for hiking or for riding a horse. The highland Salten is the european greatest meadow with uncountable old larches. In autumn it turns into a flaming sea of different colours, and in winter time the landscape turn into a winter wonderland, a paradise to snowshoeing and cross country skiing. 

The popular village Jenesien is not far away from our farm. With the cable car you can floats down to the city Bozen, the capital town of South Tyrol.

Thanks of our central position in South Tyrol you can reach quickly the city Bozen and visit the museum of "Ötzi – the ice-man", or go for shopping in the beautiful old part of the city. Bozen has also one of the most beautiful Christmas markets of South Tyrol. But even the spa town Meran, the famous lake of Kaltern and the large ski resort Obereggen Latemar are reachable in no time.
