Spring
The nature of South Tyrol reveals its wonder after the snow melts. The air so clear and pure, the colors so bright and strong. Enjoy this spectacle of nature during your holiday on our farm. When the snow is sparkling on the top of the mountains, in the valley appear a wonderful sea of blossoms with the colors red, white and green. A lot of flowers bloom on our farm and the cycle of the nature begins again. Close your eyes and open your senses...smell the fragrance of apple blossom and listen to the cheerful buzzing of the bees...and unforgettable experience. The surroundings of the city Bozen (10 minutes away) are the best places to start a hiking tour or a biking tour in a sea of wonderful blossoms. The Gardens of Trautmannsdorf Castle near Meran are numbered among Europe’s most beautiful gardens. (30 minutes away from our farm) Welcome with us the awakening year and all the new magnificent flowers in our garden.
Summer
Spend holidays on our farm in South Tyrol means living in a wonderful present of our nature. The hiking paradise Salten, an alpine meadow with a magnificent view over our holiday region, is an especially experience in this season. Our guests can relax on the green meadow and the children can play under the big and old chestnut trees in shadow. The surroundings offer a lot of activities like: swimming in Jenesien or at the lake of Kaltern and lake of Montiggl (20 minutes away from our farm), climbing in the Dolomite, hiking and bike tripps, shopping in the city Bozen with a lots of ice cream stores, one store next the other, restaurant, museums and a lot more.
Autumn
The trees change their colours from bright green into warm yellow,orange and red, and also the meadows change their dress. On the vines in the valley, the grapes ripen and the apple harvest has begun. In this season hikes are particularly attractive on the highland Salten. It's even the time for the so called „Törggelen“, it is an old custom. (eat roasted chestnuts and taste the new wine of the current season in social gathering) In this time the highland Salten is waiting for a lot of visitors for the special event „Schupfenfest: hiking from farm to farm and taste delicious south tyrolean specialities.
Winter
The romantic christmas markets of Bozen and Meran are waiting to be visited by you. The excellent winter sports areas Obereggen and Reinswald (30 minutes away from our farm) offer a lot of winter activities with perfectly groomed slopes: cross country skiing, unlimited sledding fun on the toboggan runs, skiing... Enjoy a trip with a horse sleigh in the marvellous winter wonderland. In the village Jenesien you can go for ice skating and have a lot of possibilities for shopping: a butcher, a farmacy, cloths and food stores and even a bank. Surrounded by the silence of the nature and a mild clima you can enjoy a good glass wine with cakes on your panoramic balcony.
